The ego, the part of mind given sovereignty by the unknowing as a separate entity from God, wants to cancel the fact that God made you out, and reign sovereign as if you are your own parent dictating to you how to live a life of ineptitude. You compiled ego via the belief that the limited image of God is you. It is as if you decided you’re the car, not the driver, and then threw away the keys. And then, like an innocent child, wanted to give the stalled vehicle the power of Creation that belongs only to the God in you. For in this way, you could be your own parent in powerlessness, while ‘doing’ without the interference of universal law.
Yet there is no need for guilt, no need for shame as you set about relocating those keys. It truly was Innocence that left God, and it is by reclaiming one’s Innocent Inheritance that one returns. I do not want what I, as my own “parent”, would authorize me to want. That part of my mind is severely impaired; it does not Know Authority, and so I do not want to listen to what it says. I want only the Innocence of my Innate Love for True Authority, which has always been and will always be. So I resign happily from acting with falsehood, and Surrender to Truth.
