Informed and Inspired in the Age of Light

“I am not life, nor death. From Me both spring, and flow two ways toward unity, first in My manifest Self and then in Me, yet I am not touched in both their passings.

I am the interchanging point of life and death. I balance life and death; and never in their changing can either death or life outbalance death or life.

Write thou that death and life are one, as the swinging pendulum is one, e’en though it oscillates two ways in its incessant swinging.”

The Message of the Divine Iliad

In the State, the balance of the interchanging point was known qualitatively as Mind at rest.

Mind in action is what we perceive as sensed humans – as we balance the effects of our unbalanced thinking. In embarking on that journey after the State, I relinquished a host of sensed based activities because I couldn’t bear to live with their effects anymore. One of those relinquishments was the eating of animal products.

When we take life out of order in Nature we multiply death in ourselves. The sense of dyingness is the effect, and that taking must be balanced before our “thinking is the ecstasy of our knowing” – which is what the Age of Light is all about.

Here is a passage from the Home Study Course that defines the glory of the Age of Light:

“When you are simultaneously INFORMED by your senses, and INSPIRED by your Soul by reading them, you are MANIFESTING GOD IN YOU THROUGH YOUR SENSES because your spiritual relations are as strong, or stronger than your objective material senses.”

Being Vegan en masse is the next step in balancing the action of taking life. “I am spiritually inspired as I kill this animal and eat it” said no man, knowingly manifesting Love, ever. Killing to survive is the apex ordinance of the temporarily satisfied senses – not the creative Soul.

Veganism is not the final step. But it’s the next one. Life and death are one, and they must be balanced to simulate the ecstasy of rest in the interchanging point.
