ACIM: A Course in Miracles.
A Course in Miracles is about forgiveness of the belief in giving reality to illusion. Forgiveness frees the Mind to rest in God’s Absolute Love and to create illusion in tandem with God’s thinking (aka manifest God) for eternity vs struggle with the voice for ego and its opinions for a lifetime. Forgiveness of the belief in illusion “accepts the Atonement for Self“. The ACIM workbook activities, over the course of a year, releases the Timeless Mind from its belief in the illusion of the body existing in time. The textbook goes into the metaphysics of the belief in separation.
“Without the idea of death, there is no world” is the quote from ACIM that forms “the bones” of the book. The universe and all of its inhabitants did indeed disappear in the state in the fire. They didn’t just disappear; they never were. All sense records of the universe, body of Darcie French included, were forgotten; they were no longer sensed. In their absen(s)e was only the non-sensed, Known Memory of Being in God. The body remained in appearance — it never faltered in playing out its role, yet there was absolutely no Awareness of it. There was only the Awareness of Being in God’s Love.
