Please note: this is an unrefined dictation of a fb video post of mine (since deleted when I left social media) combined with a q&a session.
Stillness, or Knowledge, is seemingly divided into its interchanging parts by the concentrative/decentrative thinking of the Creator. And this seeming division is simultaneous, so we have expansion of space surrounding a nucleus of sun- we have expansion of a cell surrounding the nucleus of the cell – and centering (and controlling) every nucleus (and it’s expanded “half”) is this Stillness, or Absolute Balance.
There is absolutely no part of Stillness, or Knowledge, that is solid, or in motion – it only seems to be.
The seeming parts in motion interchange roles. The expanded space surrounding the sun or around the cell nucleus is concentrated to be the sun or is concentrated to be the nucleus, and it expands again to be the space around the sun/nucleus, and this expansion/contraction goes back and forth from this Point of Stillness that centers/controls the interchange for eternity. This is how we have a balanced creation that endures. This is how we have rain becoming vapor becoming rain again, this is how we have the outbreath becoming the inbreath becoming the outbreath again and all pairs of opposites go on like this forever.
Every creating thing wants to think with Divinity to simulate this Balance of eternal repetition in order to express the eternal nature of God/Man/Creation. So, it’s a balanced division into expansion and contraction so that there are no residues of unbalance left over from this to create unwanted effects or dis-ease, dis-order.
So, in the Gita, we have the story of Krishna, who is the charioteer for Arjuna. Arjuna was a Kshatriya; he was a warrior to uphold peace. His relatives refused to uphold peace, and they wanted to engage in a battle, and eventually it came down to Arjuna having no choice but to partake in this battle in order to fulfill his role of upholding peace.
*Note – The disorder of ‘relatives not keeping the peace’ is an example of a residue of unbalance, which is, in essence, unbalanced thinking that is out of sync with the balanced concentrative/decentrative thinking of the Creator. Kshatriyas, or peace keepers of the day, had the duty to protect and uphold the divine order of Creation for Creation to endure.
What Arjuna learned from Krishna was to remain in the Stillness that is centering every sun, every nucleus, to remain That, and to allow That (Balance) to literally express itSelf through him. And so this might have equated to his body “killing his relatives” just as floods of water may be equated to killing people who have created drought.
Now, there is no death, or life, in this seeming of motion, there is only Life in this Stillness, and it must be expressed as Balance, so, Arjuna, through divine sight, through the Divine Realization that he was not the universal form that he asked to be shown, undertook this battle in a State of acting with Balance, acting with Love, acting without any residues left over, and so at the end of the battle (to express Balance) he was able to rule a peaceful Kingdom for many years.
And so (in the seeing of the universal form through the senses) the opponents were shown to go back and forth between (seeming) resurrection and seeming death for eternity as well, and this was the part that was really upsetting to sense, but at the same time, it showed Arjuna that every creating thing is controlled by Balance, so it was not him, as a person – as a somebody, as an ego who could grieve over the seeming loss of the motion that makes up the matter of his relatives – it was not up to him to be the controller – it was up to Balance to be the controller.
In a modern day situation, we have peace officers; we have police officers who are upholding the Law (of Balance) as we know it, to uphold the peace, to allow creating things to express Balance, and that’s ultimately what any law should be geared towards.
We have animal activists, too, who can rest in that State of maintaining Balance, of expressing Balance, and at the same time, go into these places and free the animals and fight this fight against the other side.
And essentially, this is what everybody wants, is to be able to rest in the manifestation of Balance, and for the body to go on Autopilot (without disturbance from an ego wishing to destroy, or take a seeming of excess for self exploitation).
When I left the house fire, and I experienced this absolute State of Balance, my body was on Autopilot; it functioned as per Divine Will and I didn’t have to think about it, I didn’t have to do it; I was wholly aware that there is actually no “doer” in this whole expression of Knowledge and Thinking; there is only Knowledge seemingly divided into its parts going back to the whole, going back to the parts, going back to the whole (this seeming is literally through the senses alone, and did not exist in the Absolute State), and it is controlled by the Higher Power, by God, the Higher Self (the Stillness) that is beyond the ego and is beyond the sense of division (of Stillness into seeming motion).
Q & A with KJBV Subrahmanyam
KJBV: Q1 Now, let us examine, one or two simple questions! (1) Is it possible for a person to perceive the Enemy in the first instance and secondly, to eliminate or kill him with all bodily force, when one is totally AT REST in STILLNESS?
DF: 1A (No, total rest in stillness is qualitative. The body, which is never Stillness and cannot be stilled, runs on the Autopilot of the Will to manifest Stillness/Balance/Equilibrium when we rest in and therefore act with the Will. Enemies may be perceived only through the senses as residues of unbalanced thinking – an example: the relatives of Arjuna thinking to keep all the property for themselves created residues of unbalanced thinking, or unwanted effect, or the creation of a peaceful Kingdom that could not endure. This effect was repeatedly brought to Arjuna’s attention as part of his role on Earth. (In my case, the “enemy” was an unwanted fire to be avoided/destroyed – it was initially perceived through the senses as the enemy, but not known as such as part of the Absolute that IS Balance being expressed – as I surrendered perception to the Absolute I was not affected by the body acting with the Absolute, or “doing its duty” of escaping from or destroying the fire. I did not “blame the fire”, (or the person who accidentally started it) or call it an enemy during or post-Realization – it was simply an unwanted effect of unbalanced thinking that needed to be escaped from/destroyed – (in other words, only the expression of Balance needed restoration). In the Battle of Kurukshetra, (though through semantics, it may seem that way) Arjuna was not commanded specifically to “kill his relatives” or even to perceive them as enemies, but to fulfill his duty as a Kshatriya to uphold peace/the expression of Balance – to defend the peaceful Kingdom against ongoing attack – which was the residue of unbalanced thinking of the relatives to take more of the Kingdom for their own unlawful sense satisfaction).
KJBV (Q2) Are there any other examples in Human History wherein a Person is truly enlightened and is resting in Eternal Awareness and at the same time, eliminating all his enemies from the face of this Earth?
DF 2.A That would be the Self and we cannot identify the Self as the effect of a body. In all situations the Self expresses Balance, so “enemies” of it’s balanced expression are continually destroyed (in actuality, though, transformed into their opposite halves – preponderance of concentration of motion or decentration of motion is adjusted -nothing is ever actually destroyed) – I believe (correct me if I am wrong) this is called “Lord Shiva”.
KJBV (Q3) Let us be more practical. Do you ever perceive any other Being on this Planet as your Enemy, once you began to rest in Eternal Stillness?
DF 3A No, because Balance itSelf (which IS Me) cannot be upset, and only residues of unbalanced thinking are problematic (not Beings themSelves, who are One with My Self).
