A moving creation fixed in spacetime is withdrawn from Identity when the Mind is severed from sensing and at rest in the divine balance of the Interchanging Point of Absolute Awareness centering the unmanifest-self (or as Maharshi called it, the ‘no-self’) and the manifest self.
The senses alone detect the illusion of movement and creation is simply imagined movement. The senses themselves are imagined.
The senses are guides indicating whether imagined movement is balanced or unbalanced. The movement of Divinity’s rhythmic, balanced, interchange between Idea (unmanifest-self) and seeming embodiment of Idea (manifest self) is purely qualitative. It is pure ecstasy interchanging with pure ecstasy. Maharshi also said the quality of the stillness of the Mind is dynamic. When Mind is severed from sensing, all there is, is interchanging ecstasy.
The illusion of a moving creation seems real because the Point of Being imagining a ‘no-self’ interchanging with a manifest self is real, and all there is, is one’s Beingness, eternally imagining the interchanging ecstasy of Idea appearing/disappearing/reappearing. Self-Will is to manifest ecstatic thinking in all creations. When the illusion hurts, we know experientially we are not expressing our own Will.
One might ask, ‘how does one become severed from sensing’ and the answer is — Be the Point of Interchange between the unmanifest self and the manifest self. There is no ‘no-self’, nor is there a manifest self – there is only The One Self that is Love, imagining dynamic Love full of itself.
Ramana Maharshi also said, ‘kill the mind’ which has often been misinterpreted to ‘cease being’ — which is impossible. To Be without attachment or aversion, simultaneously withdraw identification with the embodiment of Idea as well as the fantasy that one can ‘remain without the creative function’. Do not kill anything but the belief in a severed identity, and do so by simply withdrawing all falsehood into truth.
