Ginger tea in the morning

I quit drinking caffeinated beverages last fall, at the same time that I quit smoking marijuana. Since quitting coffee, I notice a huge difference in the ability to achieve balance with fluid intake and output. I don’t need to void the bladder nearly so often and I am not mainlining my water bottle all day.

Instead of caffeinated coffee or tea in the am, I have taken to drinking hot water with grated ginger and a bit of honey. This gets the digestive juices going, and the system ready to consume and digest a green smoothie.

Am saving a ton of money too — my caffeine habit got costly. Water is free and ginger is cheap.
