Q & A “what happens to us at death if we don’t become enlightened during our life?”

Q: What happens to us at physical death if we have not become enlightened during our life?

A: There is nothing special one need to do to make sure Awareness is “ok” with God – one is always God’s Grace. Please surrender to Self-Love the idea that one need “become enlightened” in order to gain special access to the eternal. Every last sentient being in this grand play about “being alive” comes from God and returns to rest in the Stillness of its origin. “Enlightenment during one’s lifetime” saves time believing death is real, so it is worthwhile to pursue, yet not Realizing the state ahead of time has no bearing on when the state is realized.

The belief in separation always heals via the return to Source. Enlightenment is only the realization that the mind is not separate from God’s Mind, it never was, and that it is Guiltless, Innocent. As the physical body passes from Awareness, one ultimately only notices that it never was part of Reality; death doesn’t actually happen. The physical plane passes from Awareness all the time and universal seed is spread all the time, too. One need not be Aware of the physical for it to be; it has already been projected onto the screen of consciousness in the past – the hologram for it is recorded in spacetime; every sense recording has been recorded.

In the event that the hologram is no longer holding one’s attention, Love at the Source of Creation Is Known to Continue. When I “died” in the fire, when the body and the universe was completely forgotten, Love was all there was to recall. When the perceptual world reappeared, the body had carried on with its unfolding, wholly without my Awareness. It wasn’t “time” for the body to pass, and even then, it was Known that the universe is never part of the Absolute state of Awareness that is Reality as God extends it.

Q: “The physical plane passes from Awareness all the time and universal seed is spread all the time, too. One need not be Aware of the physical for it to be; it has already been projected onto the screen of consciousness in the past – the hologram for it is recorded in spacetime; every sense recording has been recorded.”

What do you mean by this? And will there ever be a point at which the physical universe never existed, disappearing forever for everyone?

A: The “point at which the physical universe never existed, disappearing forever for everyone” is Always, or Absolute Reality. What happens in spacetime stays “pointed” in spacetime, never forming part of the Absolute that is Always everyone’s Reality in Source. Nothing pointed exists without reality projected to it; nothing given reality can be threatened by the thought of not giving it reality; the point simply doesn’t appear when Reality is not projected – it never was. The physical plane is the point of projected idea; Reality absolutely cannot be threatened by attention to it. Always Absolutely Continues regardless of points of observation seeming to come from it. The physical universe is never a threat to Reality nor is it threatened by Reality; it is only the belief that one will always want to project that makes any kind of threat seem real. Look to the physical plane as an adventure zone, a great cosmic play to be fearlessly lived and loved until it no longer seems real; when the desire to project points of view that embody idea ceases, the Desire to rest in Reality without projection has resumed.

Q: Thank you. So at physical death we return to Reality? Despite what we did or didn’t do in life?

Also, what happens if I never want to return to form? How is that guaranteed?

A: Accepting Perfect Love for self, aka accepting the Atonement, removes the aversion to returning to form now, and frees one up from fear related to the idea of returning. This essentially frees one up to go peacefully, without intervention. Physical death is only the end of a story being told, and the ending cannot be forced a few pages ahead of the last one, or those last few pages seem to keep repeating. All thoughts produce form on some level, so in the name of not projecting more form, one releases personal thought for God’s Thought, which is essentially accepting Perfect Love.

Attempting to guarantee non-return will seem to block acceptance of Perfect Love. After the state in the fire, I did not want to “be here in form”. I sought a guarantee as well that I wouldn’t “have to return”, and this only blocked the Real channel that is Always open, and the attempt kept the seriousness of the past repeating for a time. Those last few pages kept repeating until I accepted Perfect Love, now. Devote your mind to accepting Reality that is Always, now, and the sense of being bound by the past will diminish because you will not longer be projecting thought that will show up as some kind of a barrier to Knowledge. You are God’s Perfect Love always and forever, accept only that, and your mind is free to be as it is, regardless of where the body story unfolding in spacetime is at, and what it is doing. Perfect Love in Source is ever guaranteed, and it is Always yours to accept.

Return always entails returning to the “current” page in the story, never to the end or the beginning of a new one. The Son of God was never born, and never dies – one just projects a current page in the story to read. One never leaves the Beginning, which is Always, nor reaches an end; the ending never was. Accepting the Atonement ends the dream of death; it returns one to Knowledge of one’s Beginning. There is no end to this Knowledge, and one cannot return to a story that never was.
