That mind that plots illusion makes a body that plods through it. The plodding body follows the plotting mind like an afterthought, and can never catch up to its original idea.
The split mind tries to get the body up to speed, but it can’t, and this enables frustration. The body becomes a source of hatred to the mind that can’t seem to control it to its liking. And yet the body is not even there to the mind that flows freely in the high heavens of imagination. Nor is it there within the original you that God created.
“The body is outside you, and but seems to surround you, shutting you off from others and keeping you apart from them, and them from you. It is not there. There is no barrier between God and His Son, nor can His Son be separated from Himself except in illusions.” (ACIM txt pg 386)
