The idea of death of the body stopping Life as God created it is downright funny, because it isn’t true.
Grief is the natural response to the belief in death of the body as being the death of reality; not to death’s Reality.
Only between birth and death does one contemplate karma and the idea of being responsible for separating from Heaven (death relieves this idea). Only between birth and death does one contemplate what death means (Heaven in the absence of the idea Answers this question directly). Only between birth and death does it seem like one has lived past lives (the body never was in the Absolute). Only between birth and death is one “reincarnated” (the ego cannot follow the Son of God Home).
Death of the body is the end of the dream of death. This end is built right in; nothing needs to be done about it. Accepting the Atonement for self before the body passes releases the ego and the idea of death from Mind; one comes to realize that only the ego can die.
