As a learning device, the body merely follows the learner. Remembering the body forgets learning; forgetting the body is the lesson learned. The body follows the learner automatically; open its eyes to remember it, and there it is. But look not through its eyes for truth. “As long as you believe in what your physical sight tells you, your attempts at correction will be misdirected.” (ACIM)
Believe the body needs to heal in order to be One with God and one is misdirected; correction cannot happen through the body, it happens in the Mind and Oneness already Is. Oneness seems divided by the veil of Maya. One heals by realizing that only the Mind can create or miscreate. The Mind made the veil.
Ego protects the body of its perceived righteousness, and crucifies the Guiltless. The forgetting of the body is abominable to the ego. To forget the body is to remember God.
